We are Honoring the Memory of Josephine Gay this week. How many corporations will step forward for this lost children and their families, when our own government wouldn't? My fellow Advocates and the many teams and groups out there, We can never let these kids deaths be in vain. We choose to honor the Sandy Hook victims and without any changes in our country and around the world, the future victims too! #sandyhookpromise www.affordablegeeksquad.com

The Games Begin in the New Year!
Well Folks,
I thought I had a Civil agreement with my Step-Son's mother on be able to have Nicholas over night every other weekend.
Once again, I have taken off work every other Saturday, so that this may occur and off course this is my Saturday to have Nicholas and return him Sunday morning before I have to be back to work in the afternoon.
I am tired of the games with his mother, she is messing Nicholas's life up and making mine more difficult.
Things his mom needs to realize:
- People pass away everyday, it is part of life, it it is their time, it is their time to go. Using a death as a crutch for years is not benefiting anyone, including your son.
- Labeling Nicholas, instead of stepping up and being a parent is a cop out.
- Nicholas now has IEP Meetings
- Nicholas now is seeing a counselor, I can only imagine what she has him programmed to tell them.
- Nicholas has no friends that he can see in the neighborhood, due to her choice of place to live and lack of vehicle.
- I was informed that I don't deal with Nicholas on an everyday basis, so I don't know what he is to deal with.
- It's called being a parent, keep your legs closed if you are going to give up on that.
- You collect money from SSAD, Nicholas's Real Father's Child Support, and was getting money from me.
To my friends and the folks that commented on my previous posts, I need to accomplish the following:
- I have $500 for a retainer fee for an Ohio attorney to pursue Parental Alienation Petition and Nicholas's best interests.
- I also need to know the process of getting a Guardian Ad Litem appointed for Nicholas to make legal and medical decisions.
- I need to obtain a case files from Cuyahoga and Summit County Family Services.
If you can be of assistance contact me. I will handle this new year with time dedicated to work, school, and causes. I can not let her bring me down, even though Nicholas is the one that is suffering, I have been there as his father, and Nicholas I have tried, but I can't play your mother's games.

Merry Christmas

It's soon to be Christmas and my step-son's Seventh Birthday at Midnight. The Christmas money has been donated to charity and family of my choosing in his name. He is Seven, he is old enough to know who has been there for him.
No Parental games by the Natural Mother (Enstranged Wife) can prevent that. My cousin is going through the same games with his Two Natural Daughters, folks the other parent parent can prevail. Kids are not a game.
I start college next month, so between school, work, and causes, I will survive.
Even though I do not do the religion thing, Merry Christmas to all, and have a good night.
Peace, and I love you son, no matter what this live holds.........................
Friends, Family, and Acquaintances have heard my story. The Grape Vine has informed me that those that Cheat on Their Husband, Beat Their Kids, Pretend to be a Family, and Countless other things, have thrown their two-cents into the situation with Nicholas. Do me a favor and Butt-Out and keep pretending to be the Brady Bunch in the Suburbs.
The documents are in the envelope, the voicemails are on CD, the referrals and phone numbers are listed, but I am not stupid enough to do a Shock and Awe and make Nicholas's life any more complicated than it has been since July of this year.
Thanks everyone for your time and suggestions, may the children around the globe enjoy this Holiday Season with some warmth in their hearts.

Why does a childs mother use the child as a pawn?

Well folks since my last blog post in April 2010, my life has improved. My second eventual ex-wife moved to North Royalton with my step-son Nicholas, who will turn Seven on Christmas. Since the move, I have done everything possible to help support and continue to be there for Nicholas as the only person he calls dad. Since staying here in Lakewood, Ohio, I have gained underemployment with a local small business here in Lakewood. I don't make much money, but I stretch it as far as possible. Since a mental break down of my eventual ex-wife, I have been prevented from spending time with Nicholas at my home or doing much of anything. During this breakdown I did everything asked of me by his Grandmother to keep things normal for Nicholas. His mother did everything possible to shatter the father and son relationship I had with Nicholas. I can not stomach the traveling and doing things just in North Royalton, which is three hours traveling time by public transportation and walking. His mom sure does want the money to help with bills, her disability payments will not cover. I have accepted the fact that she has used Nicholas as a pawn in order to continue to get money for her son. I will no longer be that pawn, the pain of not seeing Nicholas is strong but with the help of others and a busy year in 2011, I will make it. I have provided everything possible for Nicholas:
- Internet Access
- School Clothes
- Shoes
- Back Packs
- Xbox Live
- Desktop Computer
- Laptop for Mom
- Cell Phones for Both
- School Supplies
- School Pictures
- Personal Hygiene Items
- Bike
- XBox Accessories
- Web Cam for Talking to him on School Nights, which never occured.
- Cordless Phones for his mom
- Laundry Money
- Food Money
- Eye Glasses for Nicholas

Unemployment and a Life Change Decision
Unemployment has taken it's toll on me personally and in my family. My parents are getting on in age and finances are affecting my parents, brothers, and in a smaller way my sister.
Even though, I am going through my second divorce, I leave behind a friend and another former wife that now has a better footing to support herself and a non-biological step-son that will go on in life helping others or serving this country and all it's people in ways, the he has the will and mind to decide for himself when he gets older.
It has been a privilege to have been back in his life, as well as a friend to his mother for the last year. Lakewood City Schools may have failed him as a Kindergarten student, but I know North Royal ton will not next school year.
This was my second marriage and I do not regret marrying either woman. They are still my friends and I know that I have made an impact with their kids.
I have been thinking about it for a while, and I will be taking an internship on the streets of the City of Cleveland to advocate and help others with legal issues, computer skills, and advocating for change.
I will also be trying to attend Metro Campus of Cuyahoga Community College.
My sister is helping with storage of property and a mailing address.
My non-profit advocacy work will continue. I will continue to work for $20.00 computer work.
To my friends and family, no matter how bad things get, we are the people and we need to be their for each other. It should not be the rich for the rich and poor will always be poor. That is one of the many problems with our country.
Unemployment and the massive shift in the ability to obtain employment is harming our country. Our governments lack of action in Unemployment assistance, lack of 99er extensions, and the endless loopholes to get hired, keep your job, or get health care or benefits that you are entitled to is alarming.
Our schools are failing are kids, technology and new ways of learning need to be key in today's education system. Worksheets and testing are failing our kids.
Wall Street, corporations, oil companies, and lack of strict laws and regulations are hampering the recovery for main street in this country.
Being the prison nation continues to affect many youth and their families, you can only hold so many people that have made mistake sin their lives. To make mistakes is human, and human will always continue to make mistakes as we evolve.
Religion continues to be pushed in our schools and government. Religion has failed generations of youths, just look at the Catholic Church scandals here and in Northern Ireland.
This life change will occur in a few weeks and I will continue to blog from the field.
